Biography & Impact
My name is Nakiganda Maria from Uganda, founder and team lead at RecyclePay, a digital platform that empowers community members to collect plastic waste and earn points redeemable for school fees or healthcare credits. I am the current winner of the Youth Well Being Prize competition under the climate change category 2024 award by USAID. With a degree in economics, I also serve as a woman councilor at Kajjansi Town Council.
