I am a Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration – Project Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration (BSWASA). I have over 10- years’ experience in socio-economic community development work. I have undertaken work in various programs areas including women’s economic empowerment & livelihoods (social entrepreneurship, agribusiness, financial literacy, cooperative organizing, marketing and quality assurance); gender, social and climate justice (gender equality mainstreaming, social norm & mindset change interventions; ending of violence against women and girls, campaign on elimination of FGM/C in Karamoja and Sebei Region, early marriages and teenage pregnancies); leader & governance (movement building, advocacy group mobilising, organising & influencing, leadership & governance mentorship, civic education and leadership capacity strengthening). I do possess strong passion for serving others mostly marginalised communities to empower them to discover their potential to transform their lives. Over the years, my skills, knowledge and experience in program designing, planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, reporting, documentation and resource mobilisation has been enhanced which is instrumental for successful project management. My spirit of service is driven by the desire to serve others selflessly, passionately and empathetically to achieve the desired change through application of values and principles of professionalism, organisational development and transformational leadership.
