I am a doctoral candidate in genetic epidemiology with a focus on respiratory health, including lung function and COPD, in African populations. My research explores the genetic and non-genetic factors influencing respiratory health, using genomic data to tackle complex health challenges. I specialise in statistical genomics and bioinformatics to develop insights into disease prediction in diverse populations. I hold an MSc in Medicine (MMed) - Bioinformatics and a BSc Hons in Medical Science (Bioinformatics) from the University of Cape Town, as well as a BSc in Software Engineering from Makerere University.
