Ssenyonjo Jim Maurice is a Deaf person who cannot speak or hear, yet he is proud because he can do anything he sets his mind to. He is an alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) and the founder of the Master Class Sign Language Initiative (MCSLI). Maurice holds a Diploma in IT from Makerere Institute of Social Development and is dedicated to empowering Deaf youth through education, advocacy, and equal opportunities. He continues to fight for Deaf rights, aiming to ensure equal opportunities for all. With a passion for breaking communication barriers, he promotes inclusivity for the Deaf community in Uganda and beyond.
